The Primary Music School “Risto Yurukov” held the first in a series of concerts titled “Musical Wednesday” last night, featuring students studying traditional instruments.
The management and teaching staff at the music school in Kocani believe that the rich folk culture developed over centuries should be constantly enhanced and passed down from generation to generation. The concert, titled “Through Tradition,” confirmed the students’ interest and dedication to studying traditional instruments.
Students from the traditional instruments class performed alongside students from the guitar and harmonica classes, with teachers Viktor Postolov (traditional instruments), David Velkov (harmonica and choir director), and Zoran Hristov (guitar).
