The Centre for development of East planning region on 15-16.06.2021 organized a two-day training on “Utilization of digital tools for promotion and attraction of tourists”, the second session within activity 3 – Trainings for representatives of municipalities and tourist sector with focus on developing digital skills and expertise.
This training is supported by the project “Our common past – road to the joint future” which is co-funded by the European Union through the INTERREG IPA Cross-border Cooperation Program Bulgaria – N. Macedonia.
Throughout the two-day training, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of modern technologies to improve the tourist experience and increase the number of tourists, as well as to get acquainted with the web platform and mobile application that were developed within the project activities.
The training included about twenty participants from both sides of the border, who attended the training at a separate physical location, interconnected using virtual communication tools. The lecturer of the training was prof. dr. Dejan Metodijeski from the University “Goce Delchev” from Shtip.
