Makfest

The most popular pop – festival in North Macedonia – “Makfest” takes place in the city of Shtip. The festival has produced over 1,000 songs, most of them hits, which have become evergreens. Many singers had their stellar moments at this very festival. For many years, “Makfest” was the only promoter of Macedonian music abroad. In the Former Yugoslavia, it used to be an international festival, hosting many foreign popular artists, and following the independence, it became the biggest domestic music brand.
