Yesterday, 21.02.2022, on the International Mother Language Day, the book “Record of the Kochan folk song” by Ljupka Stojmenova, M.Sc., was promoted. The promoter of the book was Prof. Dr. Jovanka Denkova, professor at the Faculty of Philology at “Goce Delchev” University – Shtip, and the promotion was held in the premises of the Multicultural Center in Kočani. The book contains the folk songs that were sung and are sung in Kočani and Kočani, classified into lyrical, martial and lyrical-epic songs. The promoter of the book, Prof. Dr. Jovanka Denkova gave a rich review of the work to the Kočani audience, and those present at the promotion were able to enjoy and hear original folk songs from our region, in fulfillment of the Orchestra for original songs and dances at NUCC “Beli Mugri” – Kočani.
The publication of the book is supported by the Municipality of Kočani through the Culture Program for 2021.
