With the presentation of the cultural tradition of the Nevrokop folklore heritage, on June 30, 2021 on the summer stage at the NUCC “Beli Mugri” in Kochani, officially marked the beginning of the “Five days of culture and tradition of the Gotse Delchev Municipality”.
During the five-day presentation of culture and tradition, the residents of Kochani had the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural and historical heritage of the municipality of Gotse Delchev thanks to the exhibition that was set on the mezzanine floor of the newly reconstructed Multicultural Centre in Kochani. The presentation during all five days was organized in accordance with all health protocols for preserving the health of the visitors from Covid-19 with a reduced number of visitors and a precisely defined visit schedule that provided adequate ventilation and disinfection of the space.
Besides the presentation of the folklore traditions, invaluable samples from the ethnographic collection of the museum in Gotse Delchev were exhibited, video presentation on the culture and tourism of the municipality was projected, different types of handicrafts were shown, as well as literary works that brought closer the inhabitants of the two cross-border regions.
The five days of culture and tradition of the municipality of Gotse Delchev within the Kochani summer festival were supported by the project “Our common past – road to the joint future”, co-funded by the European Union through the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bulgaria – N. Macedonia.
