Following the decision of the Kočani Municipality Council, the Local Prevention Council was constituted today in the Kočani Municipality.
The purpose of the Local Council for Prevention is to establish joint recommendations for improving public safety in the area of Kočani, as well as building trust and partnership relations in the prevention of phenomena that affect public safety and road traffic safety.
The Mayor of Kočani Municipality Ljupcho Papazov emphasized to the audience the importance of this council and the necessety to recognize the risks and preventive action. The council, has forty members, that will act upon need to prevent, organized in small working groups: in juvenile delinquency prevention; Environmental Protection; traffic safety; safety from fires and natural disasters; crime prevention, protection of life and property of citizens.
